I just can't see myself driving around with transformers on my car. My 11 yrs old son like those robots. How about take off the camaro lettering and just stick the transformers logo where the letters use to be on each side. Then get some door sill plates. I wouldn't stick anything on the windows tho..

I used the same chrome emblem as Big_Time (except Autobot) you can get off ebay and think these look good on the darker colors. I have seen someone else use the GM emblems on RJT and I thought they looked good on that color. I will see if I can find the picture for you.
I also went with "Transformer" font decals to add to my stripes. |

Let me ask, are looking to go cheaper or higher quality? The ebay emblems are only about $4 each, compared to $70 something for the GM ones, and look fine to me. However, I have had the drivers side emblem's black paint inside the eyes start chipping, which is something you wouldn't need to worry about with GM's version. The upside is that at such a low price, it would be easy enough to replace if it gets too bad. I chose to go the chrome route because I thought it would show much better on IBM than the factory version.
By the way, here is a close up of my chrome emblem for better comparison to the black and chrome. |

They come with 3M tape on the back. Just peel and stick! Mine have been on for over a year with no problems.

Yes, the black is painted on the emblem itself and it comes this way, if I understand your question correctly. Here is a picture of just the badge.
You can also find them with light blue, red, and I believe yellow, but they wouldn't match the color of our cars. For example, here is a set with the red: |

I almost forgot, there is another ebay option.
These are smaller than the chrome option and are almost flat. I believe they come in 2x2 and 3x3 sizes. The colors are glossy and semi transparent. It's hard to describe without being able to see. The black or grey may be a cheaper way to get closer to the factory look. I have a set of the blue, one of which I am goint to use to replace the bowtie emblem on my engine cover once I get it painted. |
