I have the COPO Build book at home, I think it talks about the mounting of the TACH in there. I believe it is mounted to the roll bar pillar tube somehow. I will look in my book tonight and let you know.

I have the msd adapter with tach and shift light mounted in the same spot. Plenty of room, the tach is behind the wheel and never is in the way. All though I am having issue with the tach not reading right sometimes, very bothersome! I don't know if its the adapter or the tach, but I can tell you it's much nicer then looking at the ridiculous stock tach!

Well, sorry for the crappy picture, just snapped a quick pic out of my COPO Build Book with my phone. But if you look, you can see a "ball mount" that is mounted to the Roll Bar. Not sure if that ball mount comes with the Tach, or if it is a separate part.
