I think I have harness two.. I could of swore my harness also went down to my fogs... So yeah taking off the bumper is needed

Well, something strange happened last night. When I started her up, the driver's side projector did not come on, and the halo itself was kinda flickering. I started driving home and at one point I decided to flash the high beams. As soon as I did that, I noticed the driver side projector came back on. When I started her up today, the projector came back on as well.. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'll be checking for loose connections soon

I did the non rs to rs converison also, in a 2014. Sometimes my drivers side projector would not light up at first, and flicking on/off the high beams would turn it on. That happened randomly a few times over a few months.

Just a few days ago my passenger side projector went out, and will not come back on. It looks like it tries to light up at first, but fails to do so and shuts off. Its not a bad bulb, since I switched over the drivers side and it didnt come on either. I guess it must be a bad ballast or something in the wire harness.

Not sure what to do.

Hmm. Interesting... So flipping the high beams on does have some effect. I thought it was just some crazy idea of mine.

Ok finally my projector went completely out after a road trip to New Orleans. But they come on with the high beams. Please see pics below. So is it the harness or the bulb??

Regular

High Beam

Don't think it can be the bulb since it lights for hi beams. Must be harness or ballast, in my opinion.

Is the halo suppose to go out when you turn on your turn signal during the day time?

For the 2014+ models, yes

Thanks. People keep telling me my headlight is it lol and didn't know if it was a defect. Either way it's annoying.

Ugh.. This happened twice again this week, but it appears that it's getting worse. The projector won't come on anymore. I'm going to try wiggling the harness around to see if it comes back on

Happened again today =/ this morning only the halo was coming on, but the light seemed to be weak. Now, both the projector and halo are out. I also have a front bowtie harness from gen5 that goes inline with the non rs to Rs harness #2, and my front bowtie isn't lighting up either. Perhaps the harness has a "sweet spot" that it works

I need to keep my headlight switch in the auto mode or mine flicker as well, like they are trying to come on fully. Same harness.
