Don't mean to resurrect this, but will the PSS's last longer than our stock ones? I'm already at 5k miles and I feel like they've already reached their half-life :(

Sorry for not answering your question, the PSSs should last longer than the GYs.

I think the PSS tires have a 30,000 mile guaranty or something like that, check that out though. Not sure what warranty the others have. These should last twice as long maybe even 3x than the goodyears if not used on track. I love mine on the street so far so add me to that crowd! IMHO the Goodyears suck a$$ (read dangerous) on the street in my opinion, especially if it gets cold or very wet. It's worth paying a little more for good tires on this car. Buy for the driving conditions, not cost, on this car.

He said he's not going to track but yes, I love NT01s, too. For street-only use, they will be too loud, will have bad traction in rain, and will last half the miles. They stick even before warming them up, though; it gives you so much confidence knowing they always stick to the ground.

yeah the stock tires now haven't been giving me the best launches, and they are a tiny bit noisy, but i'm happy to hear about that 30k guarantee! I don't drive THAT hard..but I do like to have fun sometimes. The tread is so small on the stock tires you never know.
ilir14 why did you change your tire size? |
