My dealer just called me: "There was some problem. Orders will start to be pulled on Friday, February 28th." He had no other details.

As far as I know, no one's orders have moved. This Friday would be good, and make sense, since productions starts mid-March. We will keep our eyes open! I post all updates here on the forums!

...since there is little to none of contemporary folks here on the board making a purchase, that's a tough question to answer. There was a ground swell with the ZL1 so the social media per se was not an issue and everything automatically fell into place. Good luck with your order and getting info going forward.

I have noticed the photos up for a few days, but I am still at "Order Placed" status. Very cool though that the photo matches the color of the car you ordered, as yours shows a red car and mine shows black.

Rumor is they are shipping every one to Germany for final tuning, so don't expect them for 3 to 4 months....

Correct- That's also part of the Nurburgring delivery package. A weekend of laps and professional instruction from Walter Rohrl. He's contracting out to Chevy for the rest of the year since all the new GT3's are quarantined while awaiting a fix for thrown con-rods in the new 9500 rpm motor and rear wheel steering that turns the car sideways into oncoming traffic at 100mph.
