Front Splitter
Hey everyone!
Was wondering what everyone thinks of front splitters? Whats a good one? Have a white SS with inferno orange stripes, looking to give it a more aggressive look. Thinking of splitter and grille replacement? What color splitter? Carbon fiber? Ideas/pics anyone? This is the beast |

My vote is for color matched heritage grill and SLP splitter.

Unless you happen to be planning some hardcore track car. There is virtually zero need for a real carbon fiber splitter on a stock car unless you just want that look and hate your money. The two best splitters in my book are stock ones or the SLP.
Heritage grill is a revised OEM GM grill to give it a more old school look. |

I'm not a fan of the fake "hydro dipped" carbon fiber look. The finish on the slp splitter was good enough for me. I feel it flows with the rest of the black grills.

I'd say first and foremost crawl up under your front bumper and take a look at how much you've been scraping it already, if you have at all. My buddy had his bumper off on a '10 2SSRS yesterday putting a "carbon fiber" splitter on it and I just pointed out all of these scrapes and mentioned it would be that much worse with a splitter(his splitter drops down about 2 inches below his bumper). But his car is lowered and if yours isn't maybe you'll be alright.
The good thing about the ZL1 splitter is that it is very solidly mounted and it is that plastic that kind of holds up to a scrape, just tough enough, just enough flex. So just keep all that in mind.

What size TSWs you got? I was thinking og getting the same rims. 9.0 in front and 10.5 in back?
