Yeah I know of a few good places here in fayetteville. Some with old buildings as a background, and a large empty parking lot so we can get all the cars together.

Ok well the 26th it is then. All we need is a time. Im sure that its going to take a while with a large number of vehicles, and the locations are not all right together.

Ok Im thinking start the shoot around 1:00. That will give everyone time to get here, and also the sun should be high in the sky so we will have good lighting for the pictures. Then we can get a few of the sunset pictures with all the cars lined up as well.

Some things to think about for shooting:
-Best results usually come with the sun behind the camera. e.g. shoot facing West in the AM and facing East in the PM, North/South anytime. -Shooting into the sun is okay around sunset or with heavy clouds. -Shooting in full sun produces lots of glare and washes out the sky in backgrounds. -Best available light is at "magic hour". i.e. minutes before, during, after sunrise and before, during, after sunset. Colors are absolutely brilliant during this time. -Dust, fog and smoke can really make for some cool effects but are usually out of our control. What I'm getting at is a 1pm meet time, get the cars cleaned, organized, staged, and start shooting between 2-3 is okay. Hopefully we'll have some cloud cover to reduce glare. But the best shooting conditions will come later in the afternoon into the evening. So maybe stage cars early with downward facing shots at first (we need a ladder btw). Then as the afternoon progresses we can start capturing more of the sky and background. Would also like to find an abandon street or dead end road where we can stage the cars in a racing start formation. Will we have all 5 generations represented!? At least two of each generation would be cool.

@ Aaron, keep me posted on 2nd gen availability. I don't know anyone that owns one. Maybe someone here on the forum can help us out.
@ jcamere94z28, love those IBM shots in front of Stir Moon. I've had one as my desktop wallpaper since before I got my car! Interested to see how this shoot works out. I've been an amateur shooter for years but never attempted anything like this. There's potential to get some pretty unique images with all 5 generations present. Little voice in my head shouting: DON'T SCREW IT UP!! LOL Don't get many opportunities like this.

Thanks! I been meaning to do a new shoot with a new technique that I have been cooking in my head.. but it's time to put it to practice. Anyway, good luck with it. And remember if you have an unique opporunity that image might be worth $$$. SO don't give out full res images for free. And make sure you keep tight ship on where your images are used |

Ok guys the morning of this day is the Jesses Dream show in Hope Mills. We have a little rivalry with the local mustang guys and would like it if everyone that is planning on coming for the photo shoot would join us at the show in an attempt to show up the mustangs. So far we have 12 local cars, and we really need all the support we can get. Plus its on the lake and would make for some great pictures.
