I got your email but would have to respond on my phone since I am at work. To much to talk about. I will hit you up when I get back to the house and can type.

Thank you for your service. I am glad I spent 6 years in, and owe my entire civvy career to that experience.

So I just got off the dyno. I don't know if I solved anything but it sure gave me a lot to think about. So now I have some theories. I just didn't get a chance to flesh them all out.
I was for sure down on power the other day. Just how much and when is still up for debate. It appears that this 02 sensor started working again at some point. But it is intermittent. It doesn't read absolutely correct like it used to. It is fading rich on bank one which I have a cylinder that is starting to fade. Got to do another leak down soon. I am going to replace both of them and see what happens. It looks like I was down about 10/14rw peak to peak on the tune I rolled in on. The losses below the curve were very substantial. I was able to get 8/8rw peak to peak and more under and past the curve. I don't have a roll in to last time graph. I will get one tomorrow. I will say that this is not an apples to apples test. This is on pump gas and it 5th gear. Last time it was 60* in there and today it was 83*. I had to lean on the car very hard to get the numbers back. The car also took more timing than it should have on pump. This is leading me to think about a spark or load deficiency. This graph is my last pump gas numbers pre converter, run #17 to today after I was done tuning, run #40. This graph is the numbers I rolled in on and made passes on, run #36 and after I was done tuning, run #40. The extra porting I have done to the IM seems to have helped carry the power up top and could have possibly hurt me a little down low. I would have to get on my normal dyno and do a 6th gear pull to see. I am going to change the 02 sensors and ensure my LT/ST's are in line and that my WB lines back up. My WB was accurate and I was running 11.8 afr at the track so that wasn't helping at all. I also had to restructure my spark curve to make the best power.

One thing I wanted to try was unlocking the converter and seeing what the tq numbers would do. I have a feeling that the stock converter either doesn't lock all the way under power or is a little lighter or more efficient on the inside. This triple disk is legit. There is no way I am pulling through it's lock up. I am assuming that is eating up a little more tq to turn.
I really wish I would have thrown the car on the dyno right before I put the converter in. Then I would have no crap back to back data. That is my bad. At the end of the day, I am down on power for what ever reason. That explains my drop in mph and not seeing the potential I could have with this set up. I got some of it back and will keep searching for the rest. I am going to get some 3rd gear street pulls in tomorrow and compare data. I don't see this timing curve holding on the street. Probably going to have to back it off a degree or two at a minimum. Fuel should hold solid though.

What did you dyno pre converter? 11:1 AF would affect power as you know.

Run #17, top graph is the pre converter dyno numbers. Run #40 was after very aggressive tuning. Run #36 is the tune I was at the track on. Tomorrow I will overlay #17 and run #36 to give an over all comparison.

The struggle is real. I tuned a friend's 28" tire pump gas a8 with your ported intake and it traps the same as my e85 stalled 26" tire car. I think I'll have to get a cold air intake and at least port my stock manifold to get back to where I need to be. Trapped 119 and ran more 11.3's in +1300da last weekend though. It gets a little better each outing. I wish you had hptuners so we could swap logs and tunes.

As soon as I have time and a real good home boy to set up my PID's and Histograms, or what ever you HPT weirdo's call them, I will be happy to make the switch. All the hard work is done.
WE NEED TRANSMISSION TABLES. ALL OF THEM.
