3 day road trip to Altus Oklahoma (be there 4 months)
I said goodbye to my 5 month old son and wife today and good riddance to the C-5 galaxy. On my way for a 4 month school to fly the C-17. My Camaro is packed to the gills with tools, flight gear, uniforms, clothes, and electronics. I decided to take all 3 days to drive it so I'm stopping in St. Louis and Tulsa for the night. Looking forward to meeting some camaro owners. I hear Altus is crawling with 5th gens!

Welcome to OOOOklahoma!! The wind WILL be sweeping down the plains tonight, they say, with a nice little drop in the temps in the low 40s! LOL!
As Will Rogers said about Oklahoma weather..."if you don't like it, just wait a few minutes, it will change!"...and for the most part, Mr. Rogers is right! LOL! Again...Welcome! and thank you for your Service in the Armed Forces. Stay safe!

I made it St Louis!
Pic of the car about an hour and half from St. Louis. Very dirty Had about 60 miles left on the tank. Mpg's started out horribly at 22.2 MPG for first half of drive. 60 degrees and going 73. Extra weight doesn't help. New carbon fiber vinyl I put on last Tuesday. Last moment with my boy The arch from my room Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk |

I'm out on the town! Having a few drinks, chatting it up with fellow travelers and having a good time! Still looking for a Camaro owner.

I took mine out of Altus. Good luck w/your training; you heard right, there are tons of Gen5's there. Local Chevy dealer there doesn't gouge the troops and it benefits everyone. Go for a drive through Quartz Mtn park - don't hit the bison.
