Check engine light came on after installing this? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So today I installed my VMAX throttle body, roto fab intake, and my apex catch can. After starting car my check engine is on. Any ideas?

MAF not properly plugged in...or phantom air leak

You didn't happen to turn on the ignition while the intake was off the car?

i did turn the radio on while intake was off. I'm maybe assuming that's it huh. How do I get the light to go off. Do I have to go to the dealer?

take it to any auto shop or parts store and they will have a code reader and can reset the light

can't you just disconnect the battery to reset to light?

Thanks. It just went off on it's own.............On a further note though.......DAMN this Throttle body rotofab combo is TITS!!!!!!!

Get an Iceolator (thick Manifold Gasket) too ... BOOM! :-) smooooth power.
