You stated it has red & black leather, that means it's a 2ss also the color is Orange and black if it's factory.

Sling Shot, my old88 cleared that up for me in a previous response. Knew my stripe was Inferno Orange, just heard dealers & some online sites refer to interior as red & black vs orange & black.Note taken. Thx.

' ES' is an SS. '37' is a coupe.

2 sites have 1ET37 as 2SS, and 1ES37 as 1SS. That's all I can say. Thx for your input.

There is no 1ET. An LT is 1EF ,an LS is 1EE . 37 for coupe,67 for 'vert.

When I figure out how to add attachments, I will attach my sources. Can't seem to do on tablet. Will try on pc later. Meanwhile, 2 Google searches bring this up. Just for kicks & grins check it out. 1) "RPO codes for 2010 ss". Several sites show it, but check out the one "scribd.com/...." Look at model trim headers. 2) Then Google "1ES37 vs 1ET37". Check out dealers who list numerical model numbers.
You will see 2SS labeled as model 1ET37 and 1SS as 1ES37. Then I checked vins for double measure. Not being contentious. It's not about my car anymore. I get it. Just want someone else to see it and get their take on it. Somebody just try looking it up and see if you see what I'm seeing. That's all. Maybe I need to see the eye Dr, lol ! Just confused and curious on why the discrepancy. Perhaps its a factory idiosyncracy. Help me out and tell me I'm not seeing things!! Thx. |

OK.Just showed to service dept.He ran my Vin through Chevy/GM system. Comes up as 2010 2SS model 1ET37, even though 1ES37 on RPO sticker. He can't figure it out neither. So that seems to prove my eye Dr is competent and I'm not making this stuff up.
Let'shave some fun. So here's a ligjht-hearted challenge (if you're curious, only)...all you guys/gals w 2ss vins and 1ES37 rpo stickers, check w your Chevy dealer/service/guru to see if it comes up in system as a 1ET37. Prove me wrong that there is no such thing as 2010 2SS model 1ET37 Feedback and information welcome. Just trying to learn from your experience. |

Its simple really.
Look at your service tag in the trunk. Do you have "2SS" listed as an RPO Code? See picture that JCunningham put up in post #20 That 1ES37 your listing isn't an RPO Code exactly and just means SS Coupe The RPO Code "2SS" or "1SS" determines which SS you have. I have 1ES67 on mine since it is a Convertible. I also have the "2SS" RPO Code listed, since I have a 2SS

I understand. So what does 1ET37 stand for? I proved it exists.
Perhaps I should start a separate thread on that alone, but I already have answers and am satisfied it's 2SS style/model and so is my vehicle. Pls read my response to that post referred to & subsequent responses. I thank you for your input. Btw...your convertible is hot. Same exterior. What's interior color(s)? Sure you have crappy weather like MD. Just bought & have to keep mine caged!! :( |
