At the time, no....now? yes...lol

However, at the current time, I've got my fingers crossed on some new wheels. If this works, I'm going to have a BIG improvement for auto cross.

CFIII event

WOW!!! I just came back after a whirlwind tour of indy, Illinois, Nebraska and back home again to a few hundred e-mails from work. I took the time to read through everyones comments and will refrain to making comments to the people who were unhappy with the event. I will say as a corner worker supervisor for friday mornings event that I had to go to the spectator tent to get volunteers. Where was all the SIGNED up corner worker help for friday mornings session?? I will say to the people who were unhappy about the money spent and were dissappointed about the way the event was handled that you must truly not understand what this is all about. it was explained very well in previous posts. I signed up for the drags as well.... lets see I got to run 0 times... My GF signed up for the drags she even took the DR class beforehand she got to run let's see.... 0 times at the Drags. We signed up for the car show... hmmmm didnt make that either. We wanted to visit other C5 members and the vendors... oh didnt get to do much of that... All to try and make this a memorable and fun event. All in all I believe we accomplished that. Some of the others never even had the opportunity to leave the Autocross area to make you all happy. This has all been through the 40 something pages but i needed to rant a bit so.... Ok i'm through...

on a lighter note, does anyone have any video's of my car running the autocross course. pictures as well. I would love to see them. I ran a 35.6, I know I need more pedders parts and BRAKES!!!. I would like to say thank you to Pete and Rob at Pedders and the new friends I have made at CFIII It was the car with a tad bit of carbon fiber on it...
thanks Joe

People keep thanking me and Rob. They have it all wrong. Rob and I thank you, our guests the drivers and all the volunteer workers

To all the drivers thrilled or frustrated with the AC experience I want to provide a short update on the AC TEAM. Each TEAM Member has submitted a detailed brief on the event. We are working through them to create a smoother process which will result in less time spent in Tech, Registration, etc. and more time on the course In addition to process we are investing in additional hardware to improve communication with the drivers, volunteers and spectators for a superior guest experience.

What we do at Camaro5FEST is not really autocross. It isn't road course. It is a blend of the two that allow the driver of a large powerful automobile to learn the limits of adhesion and how to temporarily defy the laws of physics. Next year's event will be

CamaroCross

Camarocross - Perfect name for the C5Fest AutoX!

Joe, I'm with you.. I spent so much time at the "CamaroCross" that I never saw anything else that the fest had to offer.

I am not disappointed.. I came to help.. and enjoy the CamaroCross! I had a great time.. wish we could do it again soon.. having to wait a whole year SUX!
