I don't like those weird supplements like NOExplode. Made me feel all loopy and didn't change a thing in my workouts.

I'm undecided on this thermogenic. I do notice I feel more mellow after taking it after a few minutes. Since I track everything in a log book I can give a full report once I've used it all.

Today's workout was excellent.

Legs/Triceps

Smith Squats with bench - 135/185/205/225 10/10/8/8 - I put a flat bench so I had to touch my butt to it on each rep.
Smith single leg lunges (knee to the floor) - 135/135/135 8/8/8
HS seated leg press - 200/230/250/270 10/10/8/6 (failure)
HS plate load calve raise - 315/315/315 20/20/20
Close grip bench press - 135/155/155 10/8/8
Behind head dumb bell tricep extension - 70/80/80 8/8/8
Single cable tricep extension 20/30/40 - 10/10/8
30 minute treadmill walk

I could barely walk up the stairs to the cardio equipment and was getting involuntary shakes on my glutes haha. Awesome.

Today's meals look like this:

ON Pro Complex pre workout 6:30am
ON Aftermax post work out 9:30am
2 cups coffee 10am
12pm 5oz tuna, 1 sweet potato, 1 cup green beans, 1oz almonds
3pm 1 tangello, 1 HB egg white, carbmaster yogurt
7pm grilled chicken breast, 1 cup green beans, spinach salad

I do not use No boosters anymore but then at my age it's not recomended. I was mainly mentioning it for those that did not know what they are. I have a problem with a lot of supplements and their "label decorations". Many have a huge list of unecessary ingredients in minamal dosages to have any importance. I normally use my own blends.

Tracking everything over time is the best way of knowing what works and what doesn't.

I see you're still maintaining a clean diet with your workouts. I would think that over time you will see good results.

I'm down 15 pounds from 5 weeks ago and I haven't exercised not even once.

Just dieting. I gotta hit the weights. My shoulders are not happy about it. lol

I've been doing 4-5 day of P90X workouts
and 3-4 days of cardio or fat burning at the gym.
I'm not using actual weights except on occassion at the gym. I use the bands at home.

I'm to lazy to do all that.

Even when I used to bodybuild 15 years ago, I just lifted. No cardio at all. But I was young enough.

At 40 now, I need to mix in some laps. Ugh.............

Believe it or not, I used to be Bonnie, and she used to be me with all this workout stuff. Truck driving and torn shouders ended my lifting hobby. :(

I have trouble doing leg excersises and running, because I had surgery a few years ago on my knee. So I try not to do too much. But it helps to work on your weaknesses

ahhhhh
I need to invest in some weights. I keep having to postpone my workouts because the bands keep breaking. This one was brand new.

Yea...I do P90x and I use weights...the bands are no good although they do travel much nicer than weights! Since I have been away from home for the past month, I have been writing down the P90X workouts and have been going to the gym to do them...I have to admit though that I have more intensity at home since I don't have Tony Horton directly pushing me at the gym. I wonder if I could download the audio to my iPod?? The other thing is I use 8 lb weights for a lot of exercises at home and the gym doesn't have them...so I either have to go lighter with 5s or go with 10s and my form suffers. I do have 2 lb wrist weights that I use for kickboxing so I think I'm just gonna try using those and the free weights to get closer to the ideal weight for me to lift. Anybody have any other ideas? Will say this though... I just bumped up to a harder disc (chest, shoulers, triceps) and boy am I feelin the heat in my muscles...still after four hours! Can you say lactic acid?? LoL!!

A comical quote for the day (and yes, it is being posted by a vegetarian! LoL!):

Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds
if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.

new high

I hit the 24 pound mark this morning for the second time, this time I hope it stays that way. I hate bouncing from 21-23 pounds for almost two weeks. Hit the 24 hopefully I'm past those numbers.
