Frosty Morning

I hand wash my Daily Driver once a week, but at 36 degrees I could only stand about an hour. The frost shows what was missed. I did dry it first but.... Normally it is kept overnight in the shop but I'm working on my daughters 87 Merz 190E. Kinda cool but frost will show where the dirt or deposits and water spots are.

Brr... It's been very cold in Western WA this week. Thankfully my Camaro stays in the garage. The Jeep, on the other hand, was an ice cube!

I got the cars out yesterday and washed the wheels of and ran them up and down the road, really clear in Oly this weekend, also just down the road a car hit the guard rail on small patch of ice, going to fast.

I hand wash my daily drive every week too. Fortunately for me, it was in the 50's on Thursday - but it's still cold trying to dry her off (but well worth it and she so loves her weekly bubble bath). Then a quick coat of Z-6.

Really hit the wheel wells and undercarriage hard as they put brine on the roads last week in preparation of the 8 inches of snow we got over the weekend. 65 and rainy yesterday, love it - it will get all the salt off the roads!

Like the plate too..

The plates get just as many positive comments as the car. Before I bought it my wife thought it would be a "Bad Idea" if I bought one. Well I bought it without telling her. She loves me and was ok with it once she saw it. But thats the story about the plates. The only negitive comment I've gotten on the plates is from her.... but thats cool.
