$54,995. Is dealer cost disclosed to them yet?

My point, is, NOW may be the time to start finalizing your deal with specific numbers. Is is time to do that yet or do we have a waiting time before dealers find out their cost?

Becky? Any guidance?

Expect similar margins to a 2SS...which doesn't vary greatly from a 1LT...

Average mark up on a 2SS is 1700-1800 bucks! That and "HOLD BACK" probably makes the dealer 3,000 per car

Wow, $1200.00 per unit holdback? No Volvo made ran anything close to that back in 1999 when I was still working for a dealership scraping through college. In fact, we didn't even see anything remotely like $500.00 per car. Only the biggest dealerships who hit the 'volume targets' necessary to get a per car bonus, and there was only one large enough to do that East of the Mississippi at that time, got close to that per car if you combined holdback and per unit bonus.

I'm not saying this isn't on par for GM, but that just seems like a lot of holdback especially when near luxury brands don't run that kind of HB margin.
And of couse I realize that we had experienced inflation over the last decade, but that is literally several times above what we get back in the day. Hmmm, were we just getting the screws?

Dealer holdback is 3% of MSRP. So at $60,000 it is $1800.
As far as the margin. Find out what it is a on base 2SS then take that percentage to the ZL1.

I talked to the general manager at my dealership yesterday and he said he thought there would be around 2k markup.
