Upgraded Injectors for ZL1

For those of you putting a pulley/CAI/tune on your ZL1, are you also upgrading the injectors? If so, which injectors are you going with and why? Also, if anyone did a pulley/CAI/tune without new injectors, what max duty cycle did you see on the stock injectors?

I'm going with ID850's. This is with a 2.55 upper/8.6 lower pulley combo, CAI, ported supercharger, and a better HX. I was told with only the 2.55 upper or 8.6 lower, stock objectors would "be ok" but with both, ID850's were needed. I'm also planning a cam and heads later.
Working with KD Innovations. None of it has been installed yet. Starting on the porting next week.

Thanks for the comments. I am doing the same setup as you 1st Gen, except with a custom reservoir with heat sinks built in for additional cooling. Using ID850s as well.

Andy, the car is not finished but should be this week. Pics to follow. As of right now, the new setup is keeping the IAT2's under 140 after multiple pulls.

Stock injectors just make it with this setup, but depending on the intake and size of the pulley the factory pump will not be enough as they start to drop fuel pressure and air-fuel is not able to be controlled around 630-650BHP.

63lb Siemens or ID850's are two great options. The 63lb will support 650RWHP with ease.

Reviving an old thread here. So have we established a good top line performance limit for the stock injectors??? Doing 10% OD pulley/balancer, CAI, Long Tubes, cat eliminate, 102mm Throttle body, RX Chiller / Catch Can and a tune. I'm thinking injectors will prob be in order but just wanted to see if anyone who knows more about it can give me some advise.

my .02 cent.. don't go with the 102 mm throttle body, especially if your not getting your snout ported to 102 mm.. LS7 throttle body will be good enough.

I would say that if you are getting it ported for the 102 throttle body, you should install the 2.5 upper pulley being the snout is off already. Easy boost in power. I would definately go with the ID850's . They are so much better for fine tuning. From all my readings just about anything over stock should have bigger injectors. My .02

I agree. My tuner said that he figured there would be enough left in the stock injectors but i would rather error on the side of caution and upgrade. Thanks for the advice.
