Calling all 2010 GMC Terrain owners!

My sister has a new Summit White 2010 GMC Terrain, 6,500 miles and been driving it since July. Have any of you had paint chipping along the seams of the front bumper cover? Pretty much on the top corners of the front bumper cover where it meets the wheel well there looks to be paint chipping. Thanks for your help! Trying to find an answer on a Terrain forum!

My wife bought a Terrain in the spring, but promptly meet up with a suicidal deer. Her front end has all been replaced, but I haven't noticed anything.

That's a pretty common problem with the Equinox/Terrain on the front and rear fascias. Not enough gap to the adjoining panel and the itching chips the paint. Camaros have the exact same problem. The fix is to repaint the fascia and then when reinstalling, adjust the gap so the panels are not touching. I've seen several Equinox's with chipping on the rear bumper fascia.

The fascia engineers need to comprehend the purpose of consistent body gaps. In the last few years they keep putting out vehicles with the front and rear fascias touching the fenders. Ray Charles could have done a better job in tuning those gaps.
