engine light question...

Just poured a can of Torco in my gas tank and now the check engine light has come on.... any worries ? Can I reset the engine light myself ? Thanks.

I don't know why that would make it turn on, but NO, you can't reset it yourself.

I'd give it some time to go out by itself....I believe it takes it a while to think about things...lol...If no real problem, it will go out on it's own after a while....

I have used torco in the past, it is not friendly to O2 sensors , especially wide band sensors for afr gauges, have had to replace the wideband sensor twice
I avoid all octane additives now, running shell 93 octane on 9 psi of boost, and run VP 109 unleaded on 15 pounds of boost

Avoid all additives in your car. There is no reason to run any additives and gm doesn't recommend it.

it will take 50 miles or so to turn back off if that is the problem.

Not to be obvious but make sure you tightened the gas cap all the way cause that can cause it.
