What power level are you looking at? No reason to over clutch a car.

Just looked at their power handling... LOL 750hp for a triple disc? Get out of here. Look at the Monster LT1-S and LT1-SC clutches. rated at 750 and 1000hp respectively and drive like stock. twin discs. if you want a triple disc Their triple is rated to 1500

http://w.ivenue.com/hendrixengineeri...er-triple.html OP ask dreksnot on Camaro5. He has ran both street slayer and LT1-S clutches. I think they both are stout, but he is running the LT1-S now. He recently had it rebuilt and I believe the rebuild cost was significantly less than the price to rebuild a street slayer.

you mention the ZL1 clutch, the McLeod RXT and a triple disc carbon clutch. Each clutch is different with the only similarity between all three being they are multi disc clutches. tell us your power goals and how you will use the car because then we might be able to help further...

No issues with my RXT with heads/cam. Putting a single turbo on and don't expect any issues.

Love my LT1s and it uses the stock slave BTW and I have the Monster billet bearing support a must for all clutches..good to a true 700 rwhp/torque and drives like stock...it may not be able to be re padded but hey who wants their car down while the clutch is sent out to have the pads replaced...... One reason the big one for the street slayer I think...
And btw no clunk no rattle and a twin disk the LT1s is what I chose and what my tuner likes to use .....

I would look for lightest clutch to handle your power. I used a 5.5" triple disc tilton that weighed 16 pounds in my bolt on 1LE managed 1.7 60' 11.56@120. It was not for the faint of heart but acceleration and revs were awesome! A good 30 pound clutch would do you justice and you will be amazed at the difference. Good luck op

Give monster a call and ask them for their recommendation. I believe they recommend the S over the SC unless you're strictly a track car.
