Scat-Pack runs 12:28 on it's first test.

Taken from the ChallengerTalk page. Disclaimer the owner had changed out wheels and was running Michelin PSS 295s, but they were streets and not DRs.

Pretty impressive for the first actual owner passes. But I think the car will run faster 100% stock soon.

ALRIGHT YALL!!!! I'm car #16 in the slips.
First off let me just say.... These tires are freaking badass and hook crazy well. I did not spin once during all 5 passes. It just hook and left. Full throttle off the line. No easing into it whatsoever. I experiented with the stall range with the RPM.

1st pass: I stalled at 1500rpm and ran a 12.6 eased into throttle

2nd pass: I stalled at 1500rpm again and rolled into it harder but did not mash and got a 12.5

3rd pass: I stalled at 2000rpm and mashed it full throttle off the line and got 12.4

4th pass: I stalled at 2500rpm and mashed it full throttle off the line and got 12.3

5th and final pass: I stalled at 2500rpm and mashed it full throttle off the line and got 12.2.

0 wheel spin through all pass. Couldn't believe I could mash the throttle to the floor off the line at 2500 RPM without spinning. Track prep was fairly decent and the tires were great. About 65 degrees with a very slight wind coming from the south as the track runs south to north.

Technique used: Sport mode (all settings), Left in regular drive, and revved to 2500RPM and floored it off the line.

Even tho it won't have an impact on performance on a drag strip..the car also has lowering springs and a 180 thermostat.
The fronts are stock tire, rear are the 295s.
No tune, no intake, no LT's or new exhaust. DA was just over 1,000'

The owner stated that the T/C was still on, which I suspected. There is no way a street tire is going to hook 475-lbs of torque at a 2500-rpm dump. My 392 acted the same way T/C on = 1:80s 60' times. So the new rear tires are meaningless and my have actually slowed him down a bit. What this shows me is that the Scat Pack is faster than the prior 392.

Thermostat and Springs well maybe.

Yeah roughly, it splits the difference between the fastest magazine tested 6 speed times (12.7x,12.8X) and the real world 6 speed times (13.3x,13.4x).

How much slower is the Hellcat 6-speed than the Automatic version? A bunch.

Yup yup, right about what the previous model SRT 392 manuals would run, maybe a tenth and a half better.

Compare these times to the GT PP vs. 1LE and you can throw a blanket over all three times. "Driver's race", in a straight line, no so close in the curves.

FYI the owner of the Challenger in question just posted that the springs are in fact not yet installed, thus stock suspension wise.

MT tested the Auto at 4250 lbs with a full tank. Typically "real world" weights run between 4180-4215 or so. Not a featherweight that's for sure.

I wish the op would take the aftermarket wheels & tires off and head back to the track on the original rubber, I expect he would be faster.
