Enough for E85?

Shooting for 650-700 to the wheels single 78mm turbo on E85.

GMPP CNC LS3 heads
GPI stg 4 turbo cam
Ported manifold
DSX flex fuel sensor
FIC 1000cc injectors
LPE Duel fuel pump
MSD BAP set to 14.7 V

Will that fuel system be ok? I

Hmm, I’ve been asking around the forums and local shops about running E85 on my DW90s (which are 950cc @43psi i believe), and even when I suggest upgrading the ZL1 pump to something else, most people say the injectors will be too small.

Is this because a supercharged application requires more injector since its less effecient?

Plenty of folks running 850cc injectors on E85. Consider your sources and all the armchair experts. Your current fuel pump or the ZL1 pump would be your limiting component with those 900’s. But the 900’s would be too small for 850rwhp. So, what are they saying “too small” for? That you want more HP than they’re capable? Maybe not enough information.

1000cc injectors will work
The LPE pumps wont at that power level
Not sure if the boostapump will give enough to cover it.

You will be risking it on those dual pumps. A BAP might get it but I would lean towards a different setup.
Personally, I went with the DSXTuning aux pump kit. Easy install and very effective. With 1000cc injectors you should be *around* 85% idc at or around 700rwhp.
At this time, I'm super happy with the DSXTuning aux pump kit. It was super easy to install and is really effective. I still have live pressure reporting to the ecu, just like stock. This pump setup should be able to Max out 1300cc injectors.
I also did a DSXTuning fpcm, that helped to keep the fuel pressure at commanded during high flow.

I plan on doing the AUX pump, just can't at the moment. I might just do a 93 tune and see what Vengeance says about the E85

According to LPE boosted to 14.8V they are good for 850-1000 (assuming motor) on gas. They don't recommend going over 14.8V

Thats what i did. 93 tune and probably just add ProMeth and leave the injectors alone.

I'm only going to have the car for another year or so. 700ish will be fine for a year.

The first dyno on the car it did 827 with a dyno correction factor, without the correction factor it comes out to be around 650 rwhp, since then I have raised the boost and also added some timing on my e85 tune, with all that i still have a little room to go but i am getting close to maxing out my injectors now.

Look at dreksnots signature he is a good example of what can be done with a lpe pump and 1k injectors

You are at elevation I assume?
So corrected rwhp means nothing when talking about fuel delivery. The only thing that matters is what the car made, corrected is not relevant in this case. Elevation is what is making your fuel system work in this case.
What was your idc and fuel pressure at the top of that 650whp run?
I'm most interested to see what the fuel pressure is, twin pumps in parallel is a good system.
