Or you could just ignore these $4k in mods people are suggesting and do 100 shot with tune and supporting mods(injectors, etc). Gretchen has already proven how strong the LLT is

A V6 Camaro is still a V6 and a turbo is great if your driving a Honda

you know how fun it was to put car lengths on 5th gen SS Camaros when they 1st came out with a 350+whp/400+ft-lb. turbo I4? especially when mine too said "SS" on the back... lmao, there were some pissed off guys who had just bought L99 and Ls3 Camaros getting train lengthed by a $24,000 modded Cobalt and i'll leave it at that... and hey it was "stock" turbo, or I should say a Ko4(100% bolt-in stock manifold and everything), what BNR Supercars does to a ko4 to help one gain 50whp is not of importance, lol but don't worry guys, it never lost to a Coyote 5.0 before being totaled either now with that being said, a L99 with a stall, gears, radials, headers, a cai, and tuned... a legit low 12 second car, possibly even in the 11s car... and will be hell on a lot of manuals with higher whp, because they better be f***ing John Force behind the wheel

Me being 20 years old the v6 was the better option for me. Now from my standpoint I had no problem with getting my 11 v6 with the RS package. It was everything I wanted need. I drove the Camaro and didnt even test another car. I think I got my car for 28k? With 10 miles...automatic. SS's wouldve been about 10k more off the lot so they were out of the question. Then factor in insurance for my age, and the extra gas money I would have to put out. I could get a F/I kit for my v6 for about 4k installed and tuned. So whats that, about 6k under the lot price of a SS? I love cars, and I love modding my cars. So why not get a v6 and go that route with the money in your pocket and be done? Dont get me wrong I am hopefully going to get an SS later on in life...but some people need to give credit where credit is due. And our Camaro LLT/LFX are great platforms for a v6. Also you see a stock or lightly modded SS every day. When do you see a F/I v6? Probably almost never lol but for the OP your friend is probably going to take you up until your warranty ends. Then you can handle him from there as long as the $ is there for mods! Oh and btw thank you for starting up the best thread I have witnessed on this forum.

My money would be on the l99 n/a withe the following: pulleys, cai, stall, full exhaust, gear, tires. You will be close to 400rwhp, but with no lag and better all around power and easier to put down.
While he has a good setup at 412rwhp, I dont see the big deal. Any LS3 with a cam will destroy him. If he turn up the boost, hes gonna need more fuel/tune/injectors and hes gonna break some parts too. Plp make it sound easy and cool to turn up the boost, but its not always easy as it flipping a switch like in fast nnfurious
