Yes but OP has an LS3, different animal. More BHP, less drive train loss.
What I'm saying is, is that from trap speed you can estimate a 1/4 time, but that doesn't mean the car will run that time. The only thing holding most cars back from running their fastest 1/4 time is the 60', after that most people can shift fast enough to take care of the rest. So even though a SS LS3 will likely run low 13s on avg (stock), from a roll the 60' doesn't really matter, trap speed does. So from a roll, considering trap speed specifically, you would count the SS as a 12 sec car. Does that make sense? |

Most lower hp cars will beat big hp cars on the street from a dig if its a short race. I know I can't launch mine at all from a dig without DR's. I spin from 1st through 3rd lol even when feathering. I can't even go WOT from a 60roll with out fish tailing...

True, for some reason i was thinking it was an L99, also that short of race, even if it was a turbo, probably didn't build up to full boost, it could have also been a manual CHallenger, who knows. Also turbocharged cars seem to do better at rolls than from a stop if they can build the boost (Supra anyone?) Turbo R/Ts are rare, nearly nonexistant and I can guarantee the ones that have done have cars capable of more than mid 12s (again bolt-on cars can do that). Heck, it may have been a stock car with a whiney rear differential

You guys are full of it. Who races 400ft lol? A bolt on RT can run high 12s more than enough to keep up with a Ls3. Remember our cars are not that light ether. A turbo rt would have no problem against a ss.

That is true. But most don't all in the driver. On the 5.7 RT, a turbo doesn't mean an easy win against a stock M6 SS. Those challengers are dogs.
