Correct application for spark plugs with NOS!

I am currently installing a nos system on my lfx, and have read in the forums about spark plugs for supercharging, but havent really seen a good answer for nos applications.one step cooler or two? Ngk tr6, or what?any help is appriciated, what are you all running and shot size with it? Also, noticed a good debate on gapping.Once again, from what i have read it was more aimed towards superchargers. I know there is the common rule as well for 2 degrees per 50 hp to retard timing, however, most kits that i have seen havent specified for that on kits of 100hp or less, is this not needed? Thank you all, for your help.

Autolite XP5263 @.040 gap

so far i only sprayed the 50shot and did not change the timing at all. I will be putting the 100 shot jets in next week and will be having the car tuned on the dyno. My guess, 3 or 4 degrees of timing will be pulled from it. I plan to run a separate tune for the nitrous because of that.

I guess ive always understoof not to use irradium plugs on a motor w nos, hints why i mentiined the ngk tr6 plug, however i am not familiar sith the direct injected motor, so i assume at this point the rules have changed? Is this what the nos manufacturer suggested?

Guys you want to run a non projected, copper plug. The reason behind this is because iridium plugs are so tough that by the time the plug burns down something else is already hurt. With a copper plug, ideally you will melt the plug down before something in the motor gets broken.

That is correct! "Autolite XP5263 @.040 gap" however is NOT the plug I would recommend on any nitrous application.

I hear people talk about not running them with NOS, however a few members on the forum are running them with NOS with over 100 passes without issue.

I'm always willing to learn new ideas. How do these plugs run when N/A? What gap do you recommend? So by using those plugs if you end up in a lean condition where the plug would melt quicker than the XPs you mean that could save an engine by not firing the plug due to a melt down of the plug. Leading to a misfire that the driver could feel and hoping the driver lets off of the pedal to save their engine. I could see that reason. In closing if you are melting ANY sparkplug you have bigger issues to address with you nitrous/FI system. I don't mind spending $11.00 per plug, but I'm just asking before I spend so please don't take my questions the wrong way.
