We had a little snow to deal with here, so not a ton of progress, but some.
Serpentine is routed, and that is a serious tensioner! Rear suspension is finished completely: Could be ready for tuning by next week, we will see... |

Looks sweet. What's the status on the trans work? 15" conversion? Drag wheels? |

So how far do you think you'll go without a TPIS tb on there?

Yeah, but check out that new water pump, nice huh?
The TH400 is a full motion ready when I am plan. After the driveshaft on here breaks, the Turbo 400 goes on. I think the 15" conversion is purely on the back burner at this point. I did do a twin disc clutch instead of the single for the time being. No clue on wheels yet, haven't decided what size. I have the NW 102mm, I was able to pick it up for $180, but I don't have the snout ready for it yet. |

Loose the NW 102. It will not work. You'll be pissed when it shuts on you. That should be good. See what you can do shifting first then you'll be able to see how much of a gain the T400 will bring. I like that idea. On the wheels, if you are planning on doing a 15" conversion I would just get 17's for now. That way you'll be able to sell them much easier down the road when you go to the 15" setup. The demand for 16's in pretty much non exsistent. |

Yeah, that's what I've heard.
The trans swap is simple too, no stupid electronics to deal with. My hesitation on the 15" is braking, it is still a "street" car and I don't want drag brakes. The 17s will probably be about the same in the 60' too. |

I went with the 16's in the rear so I could get a fatter tire. The only 17" slick is a 10.0 wide one. I left the 17's up front so I could keep the Brembos. But in a 17" you can get a nice 325 M & H drag radial. I still may try them. Loose the NW tb. On high hp pd blowers they are junk. I can't tell you how many I went through. 7 or 8 at least. The latter few all claiming that they were fixed. Even at camaro fest the damn thing closed on my twice. Two differnt units!! it got so bad that Ted kept the TPIS with him everytime we went to the track. The current TPIS tb's are much more refined since Ted redesigned them for TPIS. |

I'll have to get one of those, and the snout, and the spacer for the blower...
The list goes on! |

The blower spacer is going to a problem. Last I heard Ted was out and the guy making them pretty much dropped of the face of the earth. Ted doesn't want to make a run unless he has about 10 sold. Can't blame him for that. But def the TPIS. Save yourself a major headache. The list goes on and on but it does slow down a bit. |
