Would you get a black Camaro again/ wish you can change colors?

I traded my silver 10' SS (that hid everything) for a black 13' 1LE. Its only been about a month and still not sure how I feel about it. When its clean it looks amazing for about 5 minutes otherwise it just looks awful. Not sure I would get black again... Its definitely a love hate relationship.. I need a polisher and some type of sealant that works asap.

I actually wanted crystal red met. but it was on constraint. I didn't want to wait 3 months, and I liked the 45th anni.

Black these days is far easier to take care of with a good polish when new, and then sealed with the new gen of polymer sealants. Look at Adams, blackfire, Wolfgang and others for good product.

All but one of our vehicles is black, we just all like black cars. My Camaro isn't a daily driver so I don't have to constantly clean it as it sits in the garage most of the time. If it was a daily driver I would have had to think about getting black, not sure if I would or not.

Nope. Never ever again. My 96' Z28 was black. Beautiful when she was clean but like yours she was only clean for about 5 minutes before showing dirt again. Of course there was also all the scratches and swirls and the extra work to get those out/less noticeable.

Absolutely not!!! It is definitely a love/hate relationship having black. Love it when it is clean hate trying to keep it that way. All the coating in the world don't help keep the swirl marks and the micro marring from appearing. I swear you look at it and it scratches. At the time I bought this car over a year ago I had never owned black and was told how hard it is to keep clean. I thought how bad could it be and bought it. Even though it looks awesome after I get it cleaned up it only lasts as long as it sits in the garage, as soon as it is back out the dust collection begins. I actually wanted blue but the blue I like was not produced. The blue I like is produced now in the hot wheels edition but was not as option last year in the regular packages.
