I will be there, either in a booth behind the grandstands or if I don't get in there I will make a pass or 2 to see where she stands stock.

What's your car look like?

I'll be there but currently don't have drag radials so I'll be expecting to see low 12's unless I get lucky.
Man I hope the rain goes away!

Just go and don't worry about embarassing yourself. I went for the first time last yr. Took awhile to get things down( still need work on launch)but I had a blast. Screw anyone who has anything to say to you.

I went to a couple midnight madnesses and ran mine bone stock last year. It's also a 2ssrs 6speed. there are a few things to remeber... :
1. turn traction control completely off for your best time. (hold traction button for 10 seconds untill both trac off and stability lights come on).
You probably already know this but just a reminder, cause when I ran mine it wouldn't do any better then a 13.2 with it in competitive mode...
2. If you launch less then 2200 and dump the clutch it will fall on its face and or die... Thank GM for the extreme highway gearing lol. I found if your going to dump the cluth the sweet spot is right around 2400-2500 any more and it will just blow the tires of the rims . But the best time i achieved was 12.7 at 111.8 and i did so by kinda riding the clutch out of the hole till it started rolling and then laying into it!
3. Don't redline it everytime alot of people just go balls to the wall and punish there car with redline shifts this never improves times. infact it will reduce them. I shift right after the torque/hp curve sweet spot i.e. 5250. somewhere around 5650 to right before 6000 you gotta feel it out.
Well I hope this helps, and I'll probably see you out there good luck to you!

Wow, thanks for the tips. I was going to try it in competitive mode to make it easier, guess I should rethink that plan. I will definitely try your tips out. Been drag racing on/off for around 15yrs but always had autos. I bought this car to have fun in so naturally got the manual trans.......

Well guys how did it go for ya? my best was a 13.0 with a very terible 60ft of 2.97 due to 37* weather and a lack of traction haha but I did manage to put up a trap speed of 116.87 mph which tells me with drag radials and good track temps i could produce mid 11's. Next time I'll be prepared!
