Anyone watch the show "top gear" on bbca today if u did what did u think about the comment on y u couldnt drive a corvette in the UK. Not meant to be political that is y l am not repeating the comment. Just wondering about the future of American muscle.

I saw the show with the Gallardo today. I didnt see the part that you are talking about though. Those guys make fun of American made cars sometimes. Dont worry about what they say, its not the first time.

they make fun of american cars (and policies) all the time. it's just their attempt at humor - just like when we say they're all snooty and have bad teeth.

there's a bunch of our cars they do like, and they're just making for good television

you should watch jeremy drive the zr1. it makes him giddy as a schoolgirl!

Also keep in mind the steering wheel is on the wrong side. You might consider a RHD car here, but not likely. Plus if you get a chance, watch the Z06 episode. You will at least understand Clarkson's POV. But the ZR1/CTS-V/Challenger episode is epic if you are into Top Gear.

That was one of the best episodes ever, and not just because of the cars. They were in fine entertaining form that episode.

Loved that episode. I liked how they set it up so that you'd think it was going to be a normal "American cars suck" piece (and I think they intended on it being that) but they were won over by the cars; enough so that Clarkson called the ZR1 his car of the year.

I believe the reference was to the original post and how it was a bastardization of English (pick your flavor) and IM speak.
