There are a few little tricks we learned along the way for set up with the tensioner, belt routing and belt choice. If you want a Cog set up I have them in stock. Ted.

There is almost zero chance of belt slippage on a 10-Rib pulley with proper belt tension and correct length supercharger belt...especially at the relatively low hp being referenced here. Our NMRA Renegade racers make over 1,000hp with an 8-Rib and don't have issues. Something else must be causing the problem. It sounds like you may have already received some assistance from R.M.C.R. or Jannetty, so I thank them for that. Keep up the great work guys. If you have any further questions, our tech/service department is just a quick phone call away.

We think the belt was slipping because the boost wasn't going past 8 PSI and the car kept losing HP on each dyno run. Also couldn't get the belt on tight enough even with tensioner.
Mike w/ RMCR gave me a recommendations. Going to try the new config and post the new numbers. |
