What subwoofer/box to use, ideas?
I live in the Charleston, SC area and was wondering if anyone around here has a sub woofer in the trunk of there Gen 5 Camaro so I can hear it? I don't know what to go with. The sub box from GM seems too pricey, nad have heard it is not good. I have the Boston stereo. I have been to sub thumps web site. It is pricy but look good. Any ideas? Tell me what you think. Also if you live in the my area I could get a listen. Thanks.

I would stay away from the GM kit, you can get far more for your money elsewhere. I built a custom box for a single 10" in mine and it gave me good bass without being overpowering. I have heard nothing but good things about the ******** stuff, but it was just a little plain for my tastes...
Pic of mine...

Nice box Superfly1. The ******** boxes look well built on online. I want to check the stereo stores around my local area and see. Anyone know of a good stereo place in Charleston, SC?

********s prices are among the most reasonably priced pre-fabbed boxes you can get. The box I bought is pictured below, but if ******** is too pricey, then you won't like mine.

Does anybody make a box that is NOT MDF. I can not stand having a wood product in a car. Is there a kit that has the harnnis amp and speaker for a ZL1? To make the sound better but does not change anything in the car as far as cutting it up and then can not be put back to stock.
