$200K vs probably less than $75K for the Z? Not even in the same ball park. That would be top of the line C7 territory.

Specifically because it is not intended to appeal to everybody, or even to many (possibly most) enthusiasts.

My heart is for the Z28, ,, but what I have seen on the vet forum, the new Z06 could be supercharged with an LT4 and lighter. But also on the Z06, some speculate a price range of $95 k to $120k.

Wouldn't that properly be the next ZR1?

Adding weight up high and up front skews both the car's mission and its perception away from what the Z06 is, same as adding F.I. to a Z/28 would. Being lighter as well seems rather unlikely.

A lot of people are saying the Z06 will be supercharged but they also said it will be called the Z07. I guess we will have to wait two more weeks to find out.

Yeah, there are lots of things about the C7 that people 'knew', such as the fact that the engine would displace 5.5L

I admit I was one of them when I saw the supposed LT4 leak but after a while, I think GM will surprise us. I'm still hoping it is naturally aspirated.

Yeah and the Z/28 is on barely street legal rubber also. The Z/28 will beat the Stingray b/c of its tires and brakes. Once the GS, Z06 and such start coming out. Then the Z/28 will lose out to those Vettes but it will also be much cheaper than them too hopefully. But i'd rather have the Z/28 simply because I don't like the looks of the C7

I'll take the $55,000 Stingray over the $75,000 Z/28 anyday...
Could you imagine putting $25,000 in mods on a Stingray what kind of beast you would have then?
