I want Canada in the gold medal match next Sunday! And I want them to win. I want all of the Oshawa plant members to be able to go to work on Monday (3/1) beaming with pride and enthusiasm. Many of us have TPW's of 3/1 and we don't want them bummed out and hung over. If any of you live in a NFL town and follow your team, you know how you feel when your team loses on Sunday. It might take two or three days to get your head back on straight and be upbeat again. So that's my reason for rooting for them. And they deserve it for hosting.

If Canada doesn't win the gold, they're a complete failure. I wouldn't count Ovechkin and the Russians out of the Gold metal game yet

Canada will probably have to beat Russia to see the US again. Stacked teams are nice, but stand on your head net minding cancels out the best players in the world. That and Marty crapping the bed a couple of times letting in softies. Fantastic game. Great pace, atmosphere (at least until the end) hitting, skating and end to end action.
