I bought my 67 Coupe in November 1983 - She had 65,556 Miles on it when I pulled into my dad's driveway.
327 - Powerglide - nothing exceptional or special, other then she was a 67.
I drove her to San Diego where I was stationed in the Navy (ship), and in 18 months, I put 36,500 miles on her.
I have drover the Car to Maryland in 1987 and and the the NE States and back to Colorado via Florida in 1989. Finally, a total rebuild began in 2000, she had 196,000 miles on her.
Changes included a Frame off rebuild
97 LT1 - T56 - 3:73 Posi - Disc brakes - Lowerer 2" - Body and paint - Interior.

In 2002 I drove the car to Whideby Island, Washington (From Denver) for a car show and the fact I was temporarily living there.
I have driven it in the rain, and the snow. (not so much snow anymore)
See the Vid's for fun.

I'm Expecting...

Here's mine. It will be picked-up for enclosed trailer shipping in a couple of days. A "regular" coupe with some mods done to it (e.g., built 350 with 5 speed Tremec). It's a Los Angeles "U U" "717" car.

I've got a 67 RS/SS 396/325 Convertible, Marina Blue, Black cloth top - Folding rear seat, tilt wheel, rear mount antenna, Delux interior. Finished a full frame off about 5 yrs ago.. took a good 7 yrs to gather the parts, and do all the work. Real RS/SS 396/325 car. Recent upgrades include 4 wheel power disk setup, Hotchkis Subframe connectors and front/rear sway bars. Had to eliminate the stock traction rod, but well worth it. That hotchkis setup fit like a glove and really holds the car tight and together on the turns. Last trip was a few weeks ago.. drove the 700 miles from NH to Carlisle PA for the GM Nationals.. car drove great! and the 700R4 Trans really helped with the RPM's and fuel mileage. At Carlisle, finally got to drive the 2010 SS and see all the colors and options.. came home and ordered my 2SS/RS RJT, Cyber Stripe car. Build ETA is week of 8/17. Can't wait!
