any 6'2" people with sun roof?

this site is great for fueling the fire for a new camaro . . . if I'm thinking about all this stuff all day it's only a matter of time until I sign on the line . . .

so, I'm about 6'2" and my head brushes the headliner in Camaros with the sunroof . . . I can cure it by tilting the seat back more, but I like to drive relatively upright

what do you other tall guys do -- get comfortable with the seat layed back, or did you special order a car without the sunroof?

every Camaro on every dealer's lot around here has a sunroof, so I can't even try one without it unless I order it first . . .

thanks in advance!

Yeah, pretty much I crank it back.

I've got a little more forgiveness than you do, I'm just a bit over 6'1" - but I had a Scion TC as my last vehicle, and I got used to the idea of cranking the angle back a bit to avoid the headliner.

You didn't plan on using that back seat for anything, did you?

My wife hates how I position the driver seat. For me, that's a good thing, because I don't want her moving the seat anyway.

I have the back tilted back, the back of the seat down and the front of it up...I'm 6'7" and have about 1.5" - 2" setting my seat this way...not a problem for me...

I'm 6-1 with an SS/RS. The 6-way driver's seat also adjusts straight up & down, and you can isolate the front & back of the seat, not just the backrest.

Remember, the wheel telescopes too. I felt all stretched out with the seat reclined until I pulled the wheel closer to me...

Also had a tC. I'm just under 6'3'', but I don't have a problem with the sunroof. I don't have the seat laid back, but it isn't completely upright...

safety and comfort in the seat is no problem for me

6'2" + and I tilt the seat back a little and lower the seat in general. The only time I brush the liner now is when wearing a cap...

you guys all have the sunroof, right?

I'm thinking about ordering one without the sunroof to get the extra inch of headroom, since I can't find one on a lot that way

I rented a 1SS with a sun roof last OCT and only scrapped the headliner a time or 2 with my ball cap and I'm 6'4. I was still very comfortable in the car except for hangin my arm out the window in crusie mode. That is the reason I order one with the sun roof. So I could wave at the ricers I pass lol
