Exhaust/CAT Question??
I am installing a Corsa Cat Back system on my SS-M6 and I was wondering:
What do Hi-flo cats do for performance? Is there any HP gain? Are they worth doing? If so, what brand?

High flow cats are worth it. If you do headers and exhaust go with high flow cats.......they are not near as restrictive as the stock ones.

I am not doing headers at this point.
Are they still worth it?

JBA high flows ~$400 from Maryland Speed
SOLO high flows ~$550 You will find several people have purchased both brands and are pleased with their results. The aftermarket CATs are less restrictive than the stock units. If you decide to use headers later, you can sell the high flow CATs to help offset the header investment. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79075 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...high+flow+cats Attached a header vs stock manifold and CAT for comparison.

forgive my ignorance, but are you saying I wouldn't need hi-flo cats with headers?
I am still learning.
