That has got to be one of the most popular kits we have-besides the Camaro.
And thanks again for the kind words guys and girls!

The single kit....They will only be selling the "tuner" kit. That means it does not come with computer tuning, or any fuel upgrades. You will be looking at about 250 for fuel injectors, fuel rails and maybe a pump, and another 500 for dyno tuning. You will be at 7000 then.

The other catch is that they are using a turbo which is CAPABLE of 750HP. There is no way the stock LS3 is going to handle that power for more very long. Also the dyno chart was shown at 8psi or so....

As for the twins...it is CAPABLE of 1000+HP, and it comes with everything that you need for install. I would also bet that at the same boost level, the STS will have a higher HP...Just from a cooler intake charge.

I hope that helps you a little in the decision process.

will the it make more power than the single turbo thats out already claiming to get about 750 horses.

7000 is quite a bit. but i would also expect twins to put out more power than a single

What we were talking about is the capabilities of each kit, and the contents of the kit...These HP capabilities are more than most people will ever see...more than most drivers can handle...and definetly more than the stock LS3 can handle.

People need to be sure they are reading these posts correct.
Be sure of which numbers you are readying...."capable of","HP","RWHP"

They are VERY different!

Are there any plans for CARB exemption? It was my understanding the LS1-car kit was exempted (or there was at least an attempt) so I'm hoping STS might try to make this available to us worried Californians

Thanks

Emissions are a breeze...The #@&*Q^@#(&*!@ CARB has taken years off my life. I will get the details from Mr Squires himself about the process on Monday. All is not lost with CARB, it has just been a nightmare.
Details to come

Glad to finally see someone from STS actually reading the forums. No one has called me back the 3 times I've called and left messages, nor has my e-mail inquiry ever been returned.

The numbers on the dyno chart look extremely nice and if the Camaro kit gets anywhere close to that, this is going to be one hell of a choice to make. I will keep my eye on you guys for sure.

Thanks.
There's plenty of discussion all around the web on that subject. We even have a few here. Search for turbo vs supercharger and decide for yourself.

Forgive me, but I wouldn't take a comparison of turbo vs supercharger from STS as the most balanced source of information on the subject. Sorta like asking a Chevy dealer if the Mustang is any good.

I read that link...
What a one sided review..

Like a long winded salesman trying to sell you a 2010 ss for 5K over sticker and telling you it's a good deal....

I had a supercharger and it is INSTANT POWER , not like the LAG of a turbo !!

Can't win them all. Thank you for looking and giving me feedback!

And what lag? May I ask the basis on that statement?
