L99->LS3 conversion, cam sensor error - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've taken out my L99 and had a true LS3 built for it. The cam sensor is tripping a CEL, but I don't have the error in front of me. I have the cam sensor intended for the LS3, so do I need to do some reprogramming in HP Tuners? Someone thought the interruptor ring is different between the two engines.

FYI, I used my 5-wire cam sensor/phaser harness from the original engine, and plugged that into the new cam sensor (and just taped off the phaser plug).

I think I've found my answer. Either just disable the P0010 code (easiest way for me), or put a 10 ohm resistor across the terminals of the plug that used to go to the cam actuator (untested, but suspect that it would work).

Which cam sprocket did you use? Is it starting funny or does it run fine? Let us know that code also when you have a moment.
