question about Dyno graph?

In this graph from a Dynocom dyno look at the table below the actual graph. there are columns for CF and then a column for DynoCF. the CF is 1.06 and 1.07 which i fully understand based on SAE corrections. The question i have is the column that says the DynoCF is 1.00. What does that mean. Do i take the HP from the runs and multiply the CF of 1.07 or do the readings from the dyno run already have this CF added in to the result even though it says the dyno DF was set at 1.00. I know.....looking at just the HP from the dyno is worthless, blah, blah, blah. I had great gains from day one to day two and that is what you look at. I am just trying to educate myself on the intricacies of what all this really means.

So what I am really asking....is the HP from the graph already corrected for the shitty conditions. Whats confusing is the CF column of 1.07 and the DynoCF column with 1.00 which i interpret to mean the correction was not applied and i should take the readings and multiply the CF by? I have done 2 days worth of searching and could not find an answer.

Why not call SNL and ask? I could guess and tell you that weather correction has already been applied, but since I own a Mustang dyno and not a Dynocom, I could be mistaken. *Usually*, there is no need to apply any correction factors to numbers on a dyno sheet, as they will already be SAE corrected.

For example, look at my baseline with a CAI intake and full 3" catback(i know this wont increase HP). Most here are getting around 370 to 380 RWHP with a CAI. If you multiply the CF of 1.06 by the baseline RWHP of 358 you get 380. So thats why i ask. I know....dont get wrapped up in the numbers from a dyno but look at the gains instead. I am just trying to read these graphs correctly.

Thats my question because shouldnt the dyno sheet tell me. It says the DynoCF is 1.00 which i interpret as no correction is applied and in the other column next to it, there is a CF of 1.06 and 1.07 for the different days. To which i multiply the HP rating by the CF and viola....i have the SAE corrected HP.

I am really trying to figure this out myself through the experts here on the forum. I will eventually call the shop if i cant get the answer myself.

Just like i still dont have a definitive answer on if its ok to run without the tunnel brace.. Shit, even an email to the engineers at GM didnt answer this question. This is the first new vehicle I have ever bought.

I am still driving my '83 chevy K10 I bought in '86 and also an 84 Jeep CJ7 ive had since 95. These are simple compared to trying to maximize/personalize my new SS

Are you worried about exhaust clearance or something? I got the LSR brace that adds clearance.

The way I see it is do you think GM would have spent money designing and stamping the brace if it wasn't there for a reason? You won't notice a huge difference with it off but its there for a reason or they would have saved the $4 (total guess) manufacturing cost of it. They try to cut every penny they can in a manufacturing process; especially over hundreds of thousands of units.

I have another thread about the tunnel brace. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168049 I am not worried but the Xpipe hangs a good inch below the bottom of the tunnel and no after market brace will clear it. It is being worked as we type. The header connections sent out were not correct. With the new connections it should correct the problem. The dealerships answer was that it is there to support the exhaust My email response from GM told me they could not help me and that is what the dealerships were for.

Your dyno graph is a SAE corrected. Meaning it took an ~6%(rounded to the nearest hundreth) of a correction on the baseline and ~7% of a correction to get to 1.0(SAE) You would divide your SAE numbers by the correction factor to get actual power that day, in those conditions. If you wanted to convert them to STD numbers as some people like to share on this forum you would multiply the SAE numbers by ~3%

Thanks Chris, the thing that I wasnt sure about was the column that had DynoCF 1.00
