Heya bud, I think I saw you then since I kind of recognize your car. If the camaro you ran against had the gfx package and lexani rims running mid-high 13s then that was him. Poor guy had an increasingly hard time as he was trying to do a burnout on stock rubber. Also his friend or younger brother got kicked out for trying to "hide" in a white lightning that was running.... There were two groups of "pharmaceutically" careered folks placing several $k bets on a vette and TA (not that it was obvious with 60 folks making a scene of it...). The TA busted an axle on launch and hilarity ensued. Even funnier was the AAC cop there who turned a blind eye to the whole thing.

I was there a week ago, and there were some "rowdy" people there. I didn't stay long that night.

Lol...they were entertaining at least.

I made 12 passes with half being stuck at 12.6 and the others with me swearing at the sloppy stock shifter heh. I trapped at 116-117 mph almost every run...60's were trash. Couldn't adjust to the hopping and spinning so tomorrow I'm ordering arms and radials...which seems a bit of a waste with 15 minutes left in the season.

haha 15 mins... yeah man i swear that shifter sucks a** there was one time I tried putting it in 4th 3 times before it went.... can't remember exactly what i yelled but it wasn't G rated! possibly some operator error but still...3 times... :P i gotta get rid of that thing quick. 12.6 is pretty respectable for your mods listed. my best 60ft was 1.9 with stock tires but i think the s/c helped with that for sure. when i was n/a the best i could hook was 2.0. I have BMR trailing arms too but wheel hop is still a MAJOR issue.... i'm glad my IRS didn't drop out

I didn't let my crap 60' tick me off too much, but I easily lost .2-.3 sec from it. Now I'm concerned that the hopping won't be an easy fix. Radials are a bad idea without better axles and rear suspension work so I calmed my butt down vs. A tire impulse buy lol.

LOL that's funny! I was pretty gentle taking my son to day care this morning...and then exercised the car to see if anything felt amiss as well . Still have parts attached to the rear so it's all good

Are you planning on going back to the track this year then? I probably won't run mine until I get more mods. I got my race itch taken care of for the moment. We should get some camaro5 members together one sunny day and go cruisin around preferably before they dump salt all over the roads.
