I camn forsee high-30s for a fully equipped RS/SS. Just thinking about other interior options packages running for several thousands above base price make me believe this. Of course it goes without saying it would be astounding for that package to be less, but I won't be suprised otherwise. I think this car easily deserves and "premium" over Mustang that it will have. New chassis, great exterior and interior, so many more things. I think it's going to be a great value, even at the highend of the price specturm speculated here.
JMHO.

I priced out a top of the line Mustang GT Premium yesterday to get an "idea" and it came to $33,400 after adding every option I could as close to the SS2/RS Camaro.
Take that for what it's worth. |

Guys when the father said it would be priced comperably with the mustang, you need to realize there are three diff trim levels to the mustang, LX, GT, GT500. So one would suspect that the three different trim levels will be priced to compete with these three other trim levels. Now it has also been stated that the SS will not be 40K, that it will be very affordable. However that is probubly refuring to the base SS not one that is maxed out on oppions. S0 think of it like this. Base SS 29-32k, SS2 package 5-7K, RS package 2-3K, then add tax and all the other goodies. |

For those still in doubt that this is ABM, here's the window sticker from this HHR..... Man, I think this color is amazing !!!
Attached Images Not sure if this went through..but this should be something to peek at even when thinking about the V6..HHR SS turbo 4...26,600.00...kinda makes ya wonder...09 HHR...Hmmmmm |

I think this is definitely a case of abuse of the SS heritage. The V6 Camaro will be faster to 60 (est. 5.9s) than the HHR SS. Quote:
