Simple question

Just wanted to know. Have anyone done the 60,000+ service done for $700
At the dealership. Got the letter in the mail not too long ago saying my car
Is do for it. Is it a DIY service? Or should I just pay the dealer to do it?

Lots of "inspect this" and "check that". They may change your cabin filter and lubricate body components (whatever that means). Other than that, oil/filter change and rotate tires.

It's a huge rip off if they charge you $700 for that!

Oil change, filter change. Trams/oil flush. That's it.

Of course now... it may cost a bunch to inspect and service that jet engine you have on yours.

According to ALLDATA the 60,000 mile service for a 2012 V6 Camaro is as follows:
  • Check Ignition Lock, Neutral Safety Switch, Parking Brake System, Shift Interlock for A/T
  • Inspect Accelerator Pedal, Air filter, Brakes, Coolant, Oil, Exhaust, Fluids, Fuel supply line for leaks, Hood Support Shock, Oil Filter, Restraints & Safety Systems, Steering & Suspension, Sunroof/Moonroof Weatherstrip, Tire Inflator Bottle (Check tire sealant expiration date if equipped), Washer Fluid, Wiper Blades
  • Lubricate locks
  • Rotate Tires
That's all it says for normal service. Doesn't even say to replace the oil... check it only. If a dealer wants $700 for that, they're out of their minds. They're probably including changing certain parts with that service, but nothing else is in the manual that ALLDATA shows. Maybe our car manuals have more info?

If you look up severe service for 60,000 miles the only addition is the oil/filter change.

Doesn't even mention changing trans fluid

Just ask what it includes
