HKS EVC-S Boost Controller, Help!
Have this in my car and need the direction book. Can not find anything online and when you call HKS the phone number does not work.

I have an hks evc ez2...it only turns off with ignition that I can tell. Why do you need it off? That's silly, and dangerous depending on WG spring.

I know why. Mine on my gn will make it spool quicker....quicker than a manual. As long as your spring rating is safe you are ok. I held down my button that switches hi boost, low boost and it turned the units off. It took a few seconds. If nothing else pull the molex off the back of the stepper motor and hook the waste gate to the compressor housing/s. You can make a quick bypass for testing. This is probably the safest way to bypass the unit. Follow your vac. Lines and what I am saying will make sense.

Anyone else have any ideas? Holding the button did not turn it off. Don't want to have to disconnect anything as I don't have a life to get under the car.
