Just tuned my ZL1 on a dyno and picked up an extra 30hp

Got hooked up by IPF tuning in Az. Now Airaid is installing thier intake to see how much more we can get.

Wow... Maybe looking at 40 to 50 gain from a tune and CAI... Not bad.

When it's done please share your driving impressions. I'm wanting to add a pulley, Airaid, and tune to mine.

So they got done installing the Araid and put it back on the dyno, several runs and adjustments to the tune later we've got it up to 620 HP, but I have lost 50lbs of torque. Have to take it back on Thursday so they can work out the kinks with the tune.

I lost a little torque with my Airaid also. but less than 10... and that was on a HAWT Florida day in Aug.

Hopefully they can get some of that back.

I go in today to see if we can get it back. It's noticeably different right now. I want my torque. :( but I also feel the extra horses, awesome.

Thanks for the posts Godsplumber!

We did get the TQ back! Just some needed adjustments with the new Araid Intake.

We ended up getting a total of +30 HP and +42 TQ just from our tune and the rest of the car was all stock! ONce we installed the Araid Intake and tuned the car, we saw an added +60 HP and +70 TQ. And that's on a hot and humid "wish it would rain kinda day" in AZ!

If anyone is interested let me know and I can hook you up. My name is Jesse with KPE Products and IPF Tuning. My direct line is 888.222.4291 OPT #2 or my email is jesse@kpe-products.com. I am also building headers for Godsplumber ZL1 and have pulleys in stock as well. We will keep you posted as we Dyno Godsplumber ZL1 with pulley and headers. Look for Godsplumber to post his current results soon.

Thanks!

Jesse

How could you possibly get that much power from a intake and tune?
