In theory, possibly if you really know what you're doing. But the door panels are a clear acrylic and the backside is painted. I'm pretty sure if you use laquer thinner on acrylic it eats the top surface of the acrylic and makes it very difficult to return them to a clear piece.

Someone who knows more about painting acrylic will have to provide more info because the only times I ever worked with acrylic was leaving the pieces clear and putting LED's in the edges to light up etched sections of the acrylic. I've never tried painting acrylic.

I like using the word acrylic.

OK, got a question. All of the Hydro Carbon pieces pictured look great, and I think would be great on a black car (especially if they did a bow tie insert too).

However I am not familiar with interior work, so how easy/hard is it to take off what is already on the car, and install these yourself?

Question NEGATIVE CARBON FIBER?

So, to me, the pieces look GREAT! So whats the negative about plastic(carbon fiber) verses the "real". Is there a worry of fading, cracking, peeling, breaking, or is it just a difference in price?
