Spring Rates

I only did a quick search and found nothing so this thread is to list the spring rates for stock and aftermarket lowering springs. No coilovers since the rates are not the same (unless you want to include them, just know it's not apples to apples with a regular spring).

V8

Stock Fronts
Stock Rears

Pfadt Fronts 225
Pfadt Rears 425

BMR Front (1") 220
BMR Rear (1") 460

BMR Front (1.4)
BMR Rear (1.4)

Pedder Front
Pedder Rear

Convertible Specific

Hotchkis Front (1") 210
Hotchkis Rears (1") 440

Coilovers

KW Coilovers
FRONT 285
REAR Progressive

ST Coilovers
FRONT 285
REAR Progressive

etc.... of course I don't have any of the info, which is why I started this thread. If you are a vendor/manufacturer and have the info for your springs, please post up so I can create an informative condensed post.

Thanks.

ST coilovers 285lb front. Are you sure. Those are a very soft application and that spring rate seems a bit too high.

Do know what the spring rates are in Kg/mm?

The Pedders XAs are 8 kg/mm (front) and 10 kg/mm (rear).

That's funny-I recently tried to make a spreadsheet to compare lowering springs:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...2JXQjZjNjEzRHc

Stock V8: 165 lbs/in front, 370 lbs/in rear
BMR (V6): 200 lbs/in front, 430 lbs/in rear
Eibach Pro-Kit (V8): 143-222 lbs/in front, 291-485 lbs/in rear

I didn't add any convertible fitments.
