My dark stars just came in today. The looks really nice

Now I'm looking for some tires. These are a 17x7. So I'm obviously trying to find the skinniest tire that'll fit. So I'm thinking a 215/65-17 will work well. I have some 18" Z06 wheels in the mail and I'm going to go with some 305/45-18. How does that sound? I'm a total newb when it comes to anything other than factory wheels and tires. Lol

Denis, are the fronts you are talking about taller than the rears you are talking about?

Honestly I don't know. How do you calculate that?

So I put the tire sizes mentioned above into this site.

http://researchmaniacs.com/Calculate/TireDiameter.html

Says that the front tire is smaller than the rears.

How close do they have to be to each other so the computer doesn't freak out?

Don't forget to check tire rollout as you can get an advantage on the tree with the proper diameter tire! Deep staging and/or tire rollout is something I ALWAYS considered when building a drag car.
