My service mgr told me the HVAC reprogram may be flawed and could cause further damage. Anyone else heard something similar?

His suggestion was to wait a week or so for an updated program to come out.

I assume there would not be a charge for this if I brought my car for these 3 issues only?

TIA!

My passenger window was acting up too, wouldnt work for a day. I also heard a rattling in the trunk deck where the spoiler is attached when i opened it the other day!!! Sounded like a loose nut in there.

Sounds like one of those "silent recalls". The ones where they don't notify you to take your car in but you ask they'll fix it. They usually don't send out recall notices unless it's safety related.

Got both of mine taken care of today... took it in for the loose spoiler and they took care of the HVAC at the same time

Well the bulletin was only released on Wednesday to dealers officially.

I already had to tighten up the nuts on my rear spoiler as well. I will need to get the engine harness position inspected and the HVAC reprogramed the next time mine is in for service.

This should be a recall in my opinion. GM needs to step up to the plate here.. Few people will even know about this as dealers never call. I myself haven't even received a call to get these issues fixed. Oh, and my VIN range is past those numbers and I had the loose bolt problem as well. Something is definitely wrong with the way GM is figuring out which VIN's are affected.
