Spotted on car carrier - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

We spotted a nu car carrier pulling out of a holding yard in West Seneca, NY (Buffalo suburb) with 5 orange camaros on it, could not tell if reg or ss but was getting on the 400 at union(joins the 90 east and west not to far down the thruway). I have no idea of their route. No I did not have a camera plus I was driving. It was hopefully a bunch of dealer show room cars.

Wow they were all orange? Wow im happy im hoping someone gets a picture of this since it is my colour! I do wish you had pics but i know not everyone carries cameras all the time or even if they did, would be able to pic up the camera and take pics.

Ignore those you saw on the truck. Those are mine. I told them to cover them but I see they didn't.

Not picking on you...but are you sure those weren't Challengers?

You'd be more likely to find 5 orange Challengers on a car carrier than you would 5 Camaros. Besides, I thought they were planning on having all the dealer showroom cars be Silver Ice Metallic since that was what everyone was used to seeing on the concept Camaro.

I ordered one I know what they look like. I wish we still had daryl in the oshawa plant sending in info with out being deleted he would have some input on this. The train yard for car drop off (for western new york)out of canada is about 5 minutes from my house and the car carrier yard is about 8 minutes away. I will take a ride over to both on tuesday and see what I see, yes I will have a camera. I used to do work for the car carrier company I will have to look up my contacts name again to get in the yard. As for the train yard my brother in law is an engineer in the buffalo area and I think his company services those tracks. I have no reason to blow smoke and nobody on this site really knows what gm is thinking or doing for sure, not even our trusted sales people really know the whole truth. If gm wants to do a grand unvailing they will have to get cars to dealers and I really don't think they will use enclosed trucks 2 or 3 at a time when they can do 7-10 on a nu car carrier. Its close to media day and cars need to get moved into positions.

Possibly cars coming from Oshawa to Warren Tech Center for CTF duty. Not sure why they would do the border crossing in Buffalo instead of Detroit/Windsor or even Port Huron. But maybe the crossing is faster there. Doubt very much they are going to dealers unless it for some type of training, which is possible.

Show cars are usually transported by Reliable under cover, which is how irpq11's cars will be shipped I'm sure.

But alllll speculation without pics.
