Lighted rear Bowtie and emblem surround

Does anyone know if i order the lighted rear bowtie that this emblem surround will work? I think it would block the light as it seems to emit from only around the edges.

It looks to me like you have to remove the bowtie in order to install the flames. If so then it will work as the acrylic/plexyglass of the bowtie light will install over the top of it.
