If you installed MGW short throw:

If you've installed the MGW short throw you should have one extra "U-Clip" for the small rod that connects the shifter to the transmission. I'm an idiot and managed to lose BOTH of mine during the installation of another short throw shifter, so would greatly appreciate if two people wouldn't mind sending me theirs. GM currently doesn't stock replacements yet so I am S.O.L. at the moment. PM me if you'd be willing to help out. I can pay shipping, though, snail mail in an envelope should be fine.
(mgw donated their extras already to someone else who had the same problem).

Thanks for looking.

You should be able to find two C clips that will fit.

Haven't been able to. The one that was closest still didn't quite fit because the width of clip itself didn't fit all the way in to the "groove" on the retaining rod. So it would come off with little force. Not good for transmission parts.

Just need one more clip now. Thanks!

Haha, thanks anyway. Anyone else? Need just one more. Visualize my poor camaro up on ramps for the past two weeks with misc parts scattered underneath indicating only partial progress of this menial task complete.

I'll bet if you call MGW and explain what happened, they'd send you some new clips.

Send a message via AIM to mtcwby
Take the pin (that you need the clips for) to any good machine shop and tell them what you need. They will either have a clip that will work or they will be able to machine the pin to fit another type of clip that will work.

Thanks for the idea. I'll keep that one in my back pocket. For now, I'm hoping getting one more person to send me their extra clip will be the easiest for now.
